Our Production - Our Country Tokelau

Whakapono 20 and Aroha 5 have been practising their item since term 3. Mrs Sagote and Miss Maddy had started in the holidays to sew all the dresses and the boys lavalavas. Then through the weeks working up to the production we have late nights til mornings to finish the hula skirts, ies, and the Ula neck pieces.

So the end product was amazing... from their hard work and strict teacher, all the children came out looking like sparkling Tokelau children. Learning the culture, comparing and contrasting Tokelau with their own culture.

Lots of learning was done. Here are some photos of their day.
