WHAKAPONO 20 WEEK 5

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG...
THIS WEEK WE HAVE BEEN REFLECTING ON OUR CAMP ADVENTURE.

IN WHAKAPONO 20 READING, One group used the text to get their information to direct their learning.

WALT:Draw directions to Rowandale School from your home.
SC: I am able to sketch out my map with clear directions.
Kara was able to use the information from her text to map out her directions to school from her home. In the text, they had to map out their camping area of safe areas.

WALT: Create an acrostic poem about camp using descriptive language.
SC: I am able to use descriptive language in my acrostic poem.

This week we managed to get our buddy time in after all the extra curriculum activities our ILE have had. It has been awesome to be with our little buddies as they connected straight away with their big buddies. We have practiced our Buddy Dance with them and its a great success. They totally loved the beat and our boys loved the jumping action. We really can't wait for the end of the year to perform to our families.

We don't want to give away too much as we want to surprise our families with what we have for them.
Thank you for visiting our blog.
