WEEK 5 WHAKAPONO 20

Tennis
Learning about small ball skills.. Tennis has been one of the many highlights this week and its been a very fast one... Laughter.. kids hitting the balls too high, too low.. too far.. too close..
LEARNING INTENTION: use of a racket, holding the racket. To hit the ball forward then use a back hand swing. SC: Children will know they have succeeded when they are confidently playing tennis within the use of the court.

We made $840.10c.. Thank you to our amazing whanau. Team Whakapono are going to camp and this is one of the fundrisers to after ...

Thank you all for your awesome support whanau ... Your children are amazing ...

WRITING

This is shared writing done by GROUP 1. Our ideas were based from the story Jack and the Beanstalk... Next step will have the children using their ideas and and components of a narrative into their writing books. This is in their modelling book.
More writing Narratives here we come.
