WEEK 3 WHAKAPONO 20
WHAT IS SCIENCE?

We were very lucky to have the opportunity to visit the Science Roadshow. This show was set at Greenmeadows Intermediate. We travelled by bus with our ILE team and participated in a great show.
Children had a great chance to see how things worked.
Lots of interaction for the children. Children had a blast reading up on information to get into the draw to win a prize.
Thanks Science Roadshow.

WELCOME TO WEEK TWO WHAKAPONO 20.
LAST WEEK FRIDAY WE WERE PRIVILEGED TO HAVE NZOPERA COME AND PERFORM FOR OUR TAMARIKI. THEY SPOKE TO OUR TAMARIKI ABOUT FOLLOWING THEIR DREAMS.
THEY CAPTURED MANY OF THE CHILDREN WITH HOW THEY SANG 'WORDS' AND SANG IN A VERY HIGH OR DEEP VOICE.
THE TAMARIKI SAID THEY REALLY LIKED HOW THEY HAD FUN WATCHING THE SHOW THAT DIDN'T HAVE RAP OR ANYTHING FUNKY... THANK YOU TO OUR EX-STUDENT FOR WANTING TO COME BACK AND SHOW OUR TAMARIKI THAT DREAMS DO COME TRUE IF YOU BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND LEARN LOTS AT SCHOOL AND SING LOTS.
